Concerning your comments on the article "Americans in 73% majority oppose drilling ban..." You discussed the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant leck', I assume you mean leak. Well there is one major problem the Three Mile Island incident HAD NO Nuclear leak! I lived within 50 miles of the Nuclear Plant and had a relative on the investigation committee. There was NO nuclear leak. Yes they had an incident and there was steam released. The steam was not nuclear. There backup systems worked and it was shut down by the back up system. The whole incident was blown out of proportion by the media.

Living in fear, always being afraid, is a terrible thing, a terrible waste of life. You need to investigate ways that will assist you in overcoming it. Once you start, don't expect too much too soon. Just take it one step at a time, one thing at a time.

Kudos must87searcher.
Very well said on the " Battling The Energy Vampires " story. So few GBytes think to look at the BIG picture ;0),

Oh, that stalling.

by UncleCurt  Mar 14, 2010

I thought America was not stalling on Nuclear since "the Energy Department had approved financial help for the construction of two nuclear reactors in Georgia." http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/17/business/energy-environment/17nukes.html

Do you own an 87 mustang or are you hoping and looking for one?

Ford wants to concentrate on its core brands of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury. Keeping Volvo would have taken development funds that Ford wanted to concentrate on its core brands. Volvo made a profit for Ford but with its sales declining in the U. S. it was better to sell it than to keep it. Also Ford was never successful in making Volvo a luxury brand. Volvo fits a very particular niche in the near luxury segment.
